PET LIDDING FILM

PET Film is a biaxially oriented polyester film with an APET heat seal layer. PET gives a peelable seal to a selected range of plastic materials including itself, APET, CPET, PETG, polyester coated board, PC and PVC, but does not seal to polyolefines, such as PP, PE, and PS. It is designed to be self venting and dual ovenable heating (conventional-oven and microwave-oven).

It's available in thickness of 25 and 38 microns. Peel strength is managed to be smooth and could be peeled when both hot or cold condition.

Properties
PET Film can be sealed at a wide range of temperatures between 140c to 200c. The film seals instantly, but full seal strength is reached one hour after sealing. It can withstand frozen of temperatures down to -70c and food can be heated and cooked in this film at typical heating conditions of 220c for about 30 minutes. The sealable surface is normally wound on the inside of the reel.

Applications
Frozen products, Ready meals, Salads, Fresh produce, and flow wrap for ovenable bakery products.
