PS
Our PS trays provide a good presentation in refrigerated supermarket shelves, and come in a variety of colours and shapes. Products in PS trays can be frozen quickly, and the trays are also available with a SelfSorb® base pattern, which gives a unqiue built-in absoreber of the underside of the meat. No need for any absorber pads in your products.
Properties
PS material is produced from a mixture of GPPS (General Purpose PS – also called glass) and HIPS (High Impact PS). Pure GPPS is a glass clarity material but very brittle. HIPS is a GPPS to which butadiene rubber has been added. This makes it softer (providing improved impact resistance) and also more fat-resistant.

Fresh Meat and Seafoods, Salads, Fruits and Vegetables.
Components
PS : PS has a good impact strength and a high resistance to fat. PS can also be used for frozen products.
